About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with strong experience in payments within the banking or financial services domain. You will own the product strategy, execution, and delivery for cutting-edge payment solutions used by banks, fintechs, and enterprise clients. You will bridge business needs with engineering execution and drive impactful products end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for payment products in the banking ecosystem.
- Partner with stakeholders (business, risk/compliance, tech, UX/design, GTM) to prioritize features and deliver business outcomes.
- Lead requirement gathering, product specs, user flows, and use cases.
- Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering to deliver features on time with high quality.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and industry shifts in payments and digital banking.
- Drive product releases, beta programs, and stakeholder communications.
- Measure product performance using KPIs, analytics, and user feedback.
- Act as the subject-matter expert for payments products internally and externally.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 48 years in product management (or closely related roles).
- Proven experience owning payments products in banking / fintech / payments processing.
- Strong understanding of payments flows (e.g., credit/debit, UPI, cards, wallets, ACH, real-time settlements).
- Comfortable with regulatory and compliance impacts (KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, RBI guidelines).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical problem-solving.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Worked with neobanks, core banking platforms, or large payment processors.
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, and partner integrations.
- Exposure to digital wallets, payment gateways, PSPs, merchant acquiring.
