Senior Product Manager (6+ Years) — Fintech/Payments & Consumer Tech

Role summary

Own discovery → strategy → roadmap → execution for complex, high-scale fintech/payment and consumer products. Align business goals with secure, reliable, and scalable delivery in close partnership with Eng, Data/ML, Design, Risk/Compliance, and GTM.

What you'll do

• End-to-end ownership: problem discovery, PRDs, KPIs/North Star, prioritization, stakeholder comms, launch, and iteration.
• Fintech/payments depth: UPI/NPCI flows, payouts/collections, reconciliation, risk/scoring, fraud/abuse prevention, disputes/chargebacks, KYC/AML workflows.
• Platform & APIs: API-first design, versioning, backward compatibility, SLAs/SLOs, latency/error budgets; work with SRE on reliability guardrails.
• Security & compliance: partner with Security/Legal on PCI-DSS practices, data minimization, encryption, secrets, audit logs.
• Experimentation & analytics: define and track adoption/retention/monetization; run A/B tests; close the loop with post-launch learning.
• AI-augmented execution: use Copilot/ChatGPT/Claude, Notion/Confluence AI, and Zapier/Make to accelerate research, writing, triage, and reporting.
• Leadership & delivery: drive agile ceremonies, maintain RAID logs, clear blockers, and present crisp trade-offs to execs.

What you'll bring

• 6–9 years in product; shipped complex, high-scale fintech/payments or consumer tech.
• Strong business research & financial fluency (unit economics, pricing, ROI).
• Proven platform/API experience (REST; gRPC/GraphQL a plus); authN/Z (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT).
• Data fluency (Amplitude/Mixpanel/GA4; basic SQL).
• Security & privacy instincts; default to safe-by-design.
• Clear, structured written and verbal communication.

Tools & ecosystem

Jira/Azure DevOps, Notion/Confluence, Figma/Miro, Amplitude/Mixpanel/GA4, LaunchDarkly/Flagsmith, basic SQL; AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude), Zapier/Make. Exposure to cloud/SRE concepts (SLA/SLO, error budgets) is a plus.

Success in 6–12 months

• A defensible roadmap tied to revenue/retention and risk outcomes.
• Measurable KPI lift (e.g., +X% activation/ARPU; −Y% fraud loss; −Z% latency).
• Stable, secure, scalable releases meeting agreed SLAs/SLOs.
