Responsibilities:
- Drive Product Alignment:
- Be the design lead in your Trio team, working with Product and Engineering to shape the product and ensure it meets both business goals and user needs.
- Deliver High-Quality Designs:
- Independently create and deliver high-quality designs efficiently.
- Facilitate design reviews and share your work with stakeholders at different stages of the project.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately, providing support throughout the process.
- Conduct User Research:
- Plan and execute user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analyses.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
- Champion a user-first approach and ensure it's central to every design decision.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities to improve the user experience and tackle tough design challenges with creative solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Maintain high design standards, foster a positive team culture, and support the growth of your UX teammates through mentoring and feedback.
- Develop Design Systems and Documentation:
- Work with cross-functional teams to create reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that benefit the entire organization.
- Promote the adoption of the design system, conduct regular audits, and refine components based on feedback and best practices.
Additional Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
- 6+ years as a Product Designer; experience in small startups or working on complex products is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in user-centered design methods.
- Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior UX professionals in the team.
