At Intuit, the Mid-Market team is on a mission to help ensure customers can grow with us as their business grows. We will disrupt the small business mid-market (Big Bet 5), by transforming QuickBooks from a self-serve, DIY accounting tool for small businesses, to a sales-led, done-for-you suite of tools to power growing businesses. Our designers are involved in every step of the process - from discovery and ideation to experimentation and launch - using data, AI, and deep customer empathy to craft remarkable experiences. Their role in crafting a sophisticated and lovable product experience is critical to our success.

As a Senior Product Designer on the Business Intelligence team, you'll shape capabilities that will give business leaders like the CEO and CFO a constant understanding of what's happening in their business and what actions to take to increase revenue and profitability.

We're looking for a strategic designer with strong interaction and visual design skills - someone who sweats the details, maintains a relentless focus on craft, and creates pixel-perfect designs that drive impact. Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative user experiences that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical realities.
  • Drive the design process from concept to launch, delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions across levels of fidelity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to define and deliver customer-driven solutions.
  • Incorporate AI-native design thinking to automate and streamline workflows using Intuit's data and generative AI capabilities.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to uncover insights and validate design decisions.
  • Champion craft and quality, maintaining a high bar for visual polish, interaction excellence, and design consistency.
  • Advocate for customers throughout the design process from discovery to experimentation and delivery.
  • Partner closely with engineering to ensure design intent and usability are preserved through implementation.
  • Mentor and collaborate with peers to advance Intuit's design systems, standards, and methods.
  • Produce clear deliverables user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready specs.
  • Bring a strong design point of view, supported by data, research, and industry context.
  • Solicit feedback early and often, contributing thoughtfully to design critiques and team discussions.
  • A strong foundation in design principles and methodologies.
  • A curious spirit and a dedication to testing new ideas and driving impactful business outcomes through innovation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven ability to articulate ideas and concepts through compelling storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, graphic design, or other relevant field; Masters preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or a related field - preferably at a Saas company.
  • Experience with designing beautiful, easy to use data and analytics experiences strongly preferred
  • A stunning online portfolio that showcases your design skills and collaborative process.
  • A strong foundation in design principles and methodologies.
  • A curious spirit and a dedication to testing new ideas and driving impactful business outcomes through innovation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
