We are seeking a Product Designer who thrives on the zero-to-one journey. In this role, you won't just be skinning interfaces; you will be architecting the interaction layer for Agentic AI within India's BFSI sector.
As an early member of a fast-paced startup, you will hold end-to-end ownership of the design functionfrom high-level conceptualization to pixel-perfect execution. You will work directly with founders, product, and engineering to define how humans interact with autonomous agents, shaping both our product DNA and our brand identity.
What You'll Do
1. AI-First Experience & Technical Fluency
- Design for AI: Architect workflows where AI is the core engine, not a bolt-on feature. You'll define how users configure, supervise, and trust autonomous bots.
- Design with AI: Leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate research, prototyping, and iteration. You understand that in an AI-native world, the gap between design and code is shrinking.
- Technical Literacy: You possess a functional understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS) and Git workflows (commits/PRs). You aren't expected to ship production code, but you must understand how interfaces are built to collaborate effectively with engineers.
2. Systems Thinking & Complex Workflows
- Beyond Screens: You think in logic and systems, not just static flows.
- Scalable Architecture: You will build and scale a design system that maintains consistency across high-density BFSI modules and multi-step audit journeys.
- Simplification: You have a knack for taking noisy, data-heavy financial workflows and distilling them into intuitive, high-clarity interfaces.
3. Design Craft & Taste
As AI makes functional output a commodity, taste becomes the ultimate differentiator.
- High-Fidelity Execution: You bring a sophisticated visual sense and an obsession with detail.
- User-Centricity: You balance speed and iteration with a deep commitment to usability, polish, and UX best practices.
4. Ambiguity & Growth
- We are operating on the frontier of Agentic AI; there is no playbook. You should be comfortable experimenting, acknowledging gaps in your knowledge, and evolving alongside the technology.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product design, specifically within B2B SaaS or workflow-intensive environments.
- Portfolio Excellence: A proven track record of shipping professional-grade web products that solve complex problems with simple UI.
- AI Curiosity: Previous experience (professional or personal) designing for AI-generated outputs, human-in-the-loop systems, or uncertainty-state UX is a significant plus.
- Tooling Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma, complemented by an eagerness to adopt AI-assisted prototyping tools.
- Communication: The ability to articulate design decisions through the lens of research, data, and business logic to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
