We're looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our growing product team in Kochi. As a senior member, you'll not only craft exceptional user experiences but also help shape the design culture, mentor juniors, and drive strategic product decisions through design.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end design process for key product initiativesfrom research and ideation to prototyping and high-fidelity delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to define user problems and translate them into elegant solutions.
- Build and evolve our design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and data-driven insights to influence product strategy.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of feedback, growth, and design excellence.
- Advocate for the user while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.
- Stay ahead of design trends and proactively introduce best practices to the team.
Qualifications
- 58 years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design (experience in SaaS/fintech is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Prototyping, Components, Design Systems).
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, complex problem solving, and shipped digital products.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and responsive/mobile-first design.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and leading design workshops.
- Proven ability to mentor, review, and elevate the work of other designers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
