Senior Producer - Programming, Sports

Role Overview

JioStar is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Senior Producer to join our sports programming team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a deep-rooted passion for cricket and a proven track record in live sports broadcasting.

As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of both Live PCR operations and surround programming to build properties across TV, digital and social platforms. You will act as a pivotal bridge between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring that our coverage remains world-class, engaging, and innovative for an English-speaking audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Live Production: Produce shows during live games, managing a high stress environment and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Content Creation: Script, produce, and oversee high-quality surround content for sports broadcast to drive viewership and fan engagement across linear, digital and social platforms.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with on-air talent, technical crews, and several other departments to ensure seamless broadcast delivery.
• Quality Control: Ensure all content adheres to JioStar's editorial standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5+ years in sports broadcasting, specifically within a live production environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in a Live PCR environment.
• Subject Matter Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cricket (rules, history, current players, and global trends) is mandatory.
• Language: Native or near-native fluency in English, with a flair for writing scripts and directing talent for an English-speaking demographic.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Production, or a related field.
