Role Overview
Progenesis IVF is undergoing rapid expansion across multiple locations. We are looking for a Senior Procurement Executive to support and strengthen procurement operations across existing and upcoming centers. The role involves hands-on procurement execution, vendor coordination, cost control, inventory planning, and compliance with healthcare standards, ensuring uninterrupted supply of medical and non-medical materials.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Operations
- Execute and manage procurement of medical consumables, IVF equipment, pharmaceuticals, laboratory reagents, disposables, and non-medical supplies.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support smooth clinical and operational functioning.
- Assist in implementing procurement plans aligned with expansion and operational requirements.
Vendor Coordination & Management
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Support negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain effective vendor relationships while ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance.
Cost Control & Budget Support
- Monitor procurement expenses in line with approved budgets.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities through vendor comparison and standardization.
- Support value-based purchasing initiatives across centers.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, NABH standards, and internal SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation including purchase orders, invoices, GRNs, and audit-ready records.
- Coordinate with Quality and Clinical teams to ensure material quality and regulatory adherence.
Inventory & Logistics Support
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and expiry tracking.
- Prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and wastage.
- Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and inter-center material transfers.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with medical, embryology, finance, operations, and center teams.
- Support procurement activities for new center setup, including equipment, furniture, and operational supplies.
- Assist in implementing procurement SOPs and systems across locations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 47 years of experience in procurement, preferably in healthcare, hospital, IVF, pharma, or diagnostics.
- Working knowledge of medical procurement processes and healthcare compliance standards.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations or expansion projects is an advantage.
