Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for

construction projects. The role involves technical evaluation, vendor management, and procurement

of construction materials and services while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials such as cement, steel, MEP items,

finishing materials, and equipment

Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and ensure accurate procurement planning

Float RFQs, analyze vendor quotations (techno-commercial), and prepare comparison

statements

Conduct vendor negotiations to achieve cost optimization and favorable terms

Identify and onboard reliable suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers

Coordinate with project, design, and planning teams for material requirements

Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites to avoid delays

Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply-related issues

Participate in tendering process, bid evaluation, and contract finalization

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project specifications

Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and sourcing opportunities

Maintain procurement MIS, documentation, and reporting

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

5–8 years of experience in procurement within construction/real estate industry

Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and vendor ecosystem

Experience in techno-commercial evaluation and contract management

Exposure to high-rise residential/commercial or large-scale infrastructure projects

Proficiency in ERP systems SAP

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
