The Senior Procurement Analyst will assist users in all aspects of procurement activities, work with external vendors, and ensure systems are operating effectively. This individual will ensure tasks are completed in accordance with the corporation's policies and procedures using multiple systems.
What You'll Do At Pega
Partner with internal stakeholders to assess third party requirements and drive sourcing strategies using established tools and best practices to secure optimal goods, services, suppliers, and pricing.
Coordinate RF(x) processes for new vendors and contracts
Assist users with transactional purchases and submission of purchase orders to vendors as needed
Build and manage working relationships with assigned vendors
Monitor compliance with purchasing policies, including travel card use
Report on key spend and savings metrics for assigned categories / regions
Who You Are
You are a skilled procurement professional with a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain
management, or a related field and over seven years of experience, including five years specializing in IT, SaaS, and cloud category procurement. You bring expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management, with a deep understanding of IT categories such as software licensing, cloud infrastructure, and subscription models. Your strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are complemented by proficiency in procurement tools like Ariba or SAP, making you well-equipped to drive value and efficiency in procurement operations.
What You've Accomplished
Degree in business, finance, or related field
7+ years minimum experience in a procurement-related function
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience with e-Procurement tools and workflows (Ariba, SAP, GEP, etc)
Demonstrated ability to learn business requirements quickly
Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
