Job Title: DevOps and Azure Infrastructure Lead
Experience
- 16+ years of overall IT experience with strong Devops and Azure Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance background
- Location Mumbai / Pune
Role Summary
We are looking for a
senior professional with deep expertise in
cloud-native architecture,
microservices,
DevOps,
infrastructure monitoring,
enterprise integration and team management. The role involves designing, governing, and guiding end-to-end Azure solutions while collaborating closely with business, development, security, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for a team of professionals involved in servicing cloud infrastructure and Devops support
- Knowledge and experience on end-to-end Azure cloud architectures (high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization)
- Lead containerization and orchestration using Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
- Implement GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD
- Architect and govern CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
- Experience in cloud networking design (VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Firewall)
- Experienced in observability and monitoring using Datadog (logs, metrics, APM, alerts)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce IaC practices (Terraform / Bicep / ARM)
- Define non-functional requirements: performance, resiliency, DR, security, compliance
- Review designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor senior engineers
- Act as a technical escalation point and ensure delivery quality

Cloud & Azure
- Azure core services: App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
- Azure networking: VNET peering, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute / VPN
- Identity & Security: Azure AD, Managed Identity, RBAC, Key Vault
DevOps & Orchestration
- Kubernetes (AKS) cluster design, scaling, security, upgrades
- ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments
- Docker image strategy and registry management
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub)
Monitoring & Observability
- Datadog APM, infrastructure monitoring, logging, dashboards
- Alerting strategy and SLA/SLO definition
Networking & Security
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls
- Secure cloud design, Zero Trust concepts
- Experience with security scanning and compliance controls
Architecture & Design
- Experience with enterprise architecture patterns
- System integration (REST, messaging, event streaming)
- High availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region design
- Performance tuning and capacity planning
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills able to explain complex concepts clearly
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration
- Eye for detail with a strong focus on quality and governance
- Ability to balance hands-on work and strategic thinking
- Mentoring and leadership mindset
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred)
- Experience with Kafka / Event Hub
- Knowledge of security tools, SAST/DAST
- Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments
