The S/4HANA IS-Retail Expert (Merchandising) is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions focused on merchandising processes. This role ensures accurate product lifecycle management, pricing, promotions, and assortment planning to enable efficient retail operations.
Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
Configure SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail merchandising modules (Article Master, Listing, Assortment, Pricing, Promotions).
Implement processes for product introduction, hierarchy management, and lifecycle tracking.
Ensure compliance with retail standards and business requirements.
Integration
Integrate merchandising processes with supply chain, inventory, and POS systems.
Collaborate with e-commerce and CRM teams for omnichannel consistency.
Data Management
Maintain master data integrity for articles, vendors, and pricing conditions.
Support data migration and cleansing during project phases.
Process Optimization
Analyze merchandising workflows and recommend improvements.
Enable automation for pricing and assortment planning.
Support & Training
Provide Level 3 support for merchandising-related SAP issues.
Conduct workshops and training for business users.
Qualifications/Skills we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation:B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail merchandising functionalities.
Experience with Article Master, Listing, Assortment, Pricing, and Promotions.
Familiarity with Fiori apps and retail analytics.
Domain Knowledge
Understanding of retail merchandising processes (product lifecycle, assortment planning, pricing strategies).
Exposure to omnichannel retail operations.
Experience
SAP Retail implementations.
At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA retail projects with merchandising focus.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in S/4HANA Retail.
Experience with SAP CAR and integration with POS systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
