The Project Manager / SME - PLM is responsible for leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programs, driving solution design, ensuring business alignment, and overseeing execution throughout the project lifecycle. This hybrid role requires deep PLM functional expertise combined with strong project management skills to manage teams, stakeholders, schedules, risks, and deliverables. The position involves guiding enterprise PLM roadmaps, standardizing processes, and ensuring successful implementation, migration, or enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Skills/Tasks requirements

• Ability to map requirements to Windchill PLM and ability to solution Windchill PLM with respect to configuration & customization of Windchill PLM and its modules PartLink, MPMLink & ProjectLink

• Design and execution of engineering data migrations from legacy systems to Windchill PLM

• Extract part and design data from legacy systems, transforming data, history, validating data and make it ready for loading into Windchill PLM

• Successful handling of end to end data migrations

• In depth experience in handling engineering data of discrete manufacturing industry domain. Experience handling Part, Design (3D models & 2D drawings) data and design variants. How engineering data is represented in Windchill PLM and best practices

• Good communication and customer handling skills

• Ability managing large projects and coordinate with project team / resources from offshore

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant years of experience in Windchill PLM implementations

• In-depth understanding of Windchill PLM system, Part & Document management, Part-Document alignment, Engineering design lifecycles within Windchill PLM, Change management and workflows

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Ability to delegate project activities to project team

• Ability to report project progress, status and risks to PMO organization
