Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant - Business Analyst

In this role, the Business Analyst is responsible for refining user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment between stakeholder expectations and development outcomes. This involves close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business process owners across functional domains, as directed by the project or program manager, to translate operational needs into actionable delivery artifacts and maintain traceability throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements across financial crime surveillance initiatives

  • Partner with stakeholders to define and implement future-state workflows and capabilities, focusing on practical delivery and operational impact

  • Assist in the mapping and re-engineering of current-state processes to align with strategic goals and technology solutions

  • Support delivery across the full project lifecycle - from design through testing, readiness, and implementation

  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and risk requirements

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather insights, co-design solutions, and align stakeholders

  • Contribute to delivery governance through clear documentation, status tracking, and risk/issue identification

  • Deep analytical mindset with the ability to operate comfortably in both technical and business domains

  • Team player who adapts to shifting contexts, handles ambiguity, and proactively offers assistance where needed

  • Delivery Focus: Proven ability to work across business and technology teams to deliver process and system change in fast-paced environments

  • Workflow and Process: Strong understanding of business workflows, investigative processes, and operational hand-offs

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Experience in BA, analytics, or a similar role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Familiarity with data governance principles including data lineage, quality frameworks, and metadata management is a plus

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, drive consensus, and maintain alignment across business and technical teams

  • Skilled in delivering impactful presentations, facilitating workshops, and translating complex concepts into actionable insights
