Job Summary:
If you are a Pricing Specialist, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Pricing Engineer to work with our North American Team. This position is responsible for providing independent Specials Pricing for North America sales on sliding stem and rotary products. Responsible for error free Quotes in the CESR and ensures correct pricing strategy applied for all adders sent to Sales. Measures & Tracks teams PDSL through Enquiry Logs & acts a key point between the NA functional head and FCEC. Effectively Manage workload & balances turn around during surge in enquiries
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Coaches young engineers on various pricing strategies & tool required for quote creation
Develop young engineers on technical and communication skills
Ensures correct pricing strategies applied by team members and all records all RCA situations
Determine correct market pricing and update adders related to Sliding Stem products below NPS12 and Rotary products below NPS24
Review requests and managing workload for the team & maintaining the agreed turnaround time for enquiries
Act as Gate keeper for all pricing enquiries and checks the correctness of quote before being sent to sales team.
Understand Fisher global supplier's capabilities and limitations to evaluate the possibility of manufacturing the requested special part and work with PE for estimations on Engr and Drafting LT
Understand list price positioning and market price for creating list adders
Analyze the pricing process and be responsible for continuous improvement of service level to enhance team PDSL
Establish dynamic relationships with Fisher sales team, especially with GIS in North America and act as prime contract for the FCEC TEAM
Monitor PDSL & performance of the Team and Generate Monthly Report for FCEC Management
Experience level required is 7+ yrs

For This Role, You Will Need:
Minimum 7 years experience of any Engineering background.
Knowledge of all Fisher products and accessories.
Understanding of product specifications and Incoterms.
Adequate knowledge of sizing control valves for industry specific applications
Knowledge of MIB strategy & implementation skilled in using the FF2 tool
Basic knowledge of Inactive/obsolete/Competitor products.
Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
Basic understanding of MS word, excel and power point.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
