- 4 to 7+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop.
- Experience in creating and optimizing mobile-friendly report layouts.
- Experience in working with MySQL and Oracle databases.
- Design and develop semantic data models using Power BI Desktop.
- Ability to create interactive reports using slicers, filters, drill-down & drill-through.
- Experience with bookmarks, buttons, and tooltips.
- Deploy reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces.
- Build data models, perform data cleaning, and create calculated columns/measures using DAX.
- Implement the appropriate Power BI data connectivity mode (Import, Direct Query, or Live Connection) based on system performance considerations, data volume, and organizational requirements.
- Connect to data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.), transform data using Power Query (M Language).
- Optimize data refresh schedules and query performance.
- Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) on data.
- Document report requirements, data logic, and user guides.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes.
- Support embedding the power BI reports into web application.
- Experience with performance tuning (both Power BI and database level).
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema).
