- Develop and optimize backend data processing logic using Java and SQL, including configurable libraries supporting large-scale data harmonization workflows.
- Own execution of scheduled and ad-hoc data processing jobs, including job initiation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of failures.
- Ensure platform stability, data integrity, and performance across dependent pipelines and integrations.
- Act as the technical lead for EHP-related development, coordinating with internal engineering and analytics teams when platform changes affect upstream or downstream pipelines.
- Translate platform constraints and opportunities into actionable technical solutions.
- Partner with data stewards to gather and translate functional requirements into technical deliverables, including:
- UI features and workflow enhancements
- SQL database views and data access layers
- Enhanced data processing and validation logic
- Explore and prototype LLM-based agents and intelligent automation to enhance platform operations and data stewardship workflows.
- Communicate technical status and roadmap implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Java and SQL in production data systems.
- Hands-on experience with job orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent).
- Experience building and supporting search- or index-based systems (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch, Lucene).
- Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot complex data pipelines end-to-end.
- Experience working directly with business or data users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, master data management, or data harmonization systems.
- Exposure to LLM-based automation, agent design, or applied AI in data workflows.
- Experience acting as a de facto technical lead in cross-team environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and operational monitoring.
