We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Developer with expertise in Salesforce to play a critical role in our Medical Information platforms. This position is vital for ensuring quality, compliance, and performance in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools. You will lead the implementation of new features, manage the release process, and drive continuous improvements while mentoring junior developers and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Development: Act as the primary technical expert for Salesforce development activities, leading the implementation of new features and enhancements on Salesforce Experience Cloud. You will take ownership of critical development items and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- DevOps & Release Management: Handle and coordinate all aspects of the release process using Copado, including pipeline configuration, code integration, version control, and deployment planning. You will use Copado's continuous integration and delivery capabilities to streamline deployments and ensure traceability.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure platform compliance with GxP, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements. Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to security, scalability, accessibility, and performance standards. You will maintain up-to-date technical documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaboration & Maintenance: Work closely with product analysts, UX/UI teams, and global stakeholders to maintain and evolve our digital medical platforms. Support the maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and other platforms such as AWS, MuleSoft, and third-party services.
- Agile Participation: Participate actively in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other SAFe Agile ceremonies to ensure visibility and accountability across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree with relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience, or a Diploma with a substantial background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Advanced Salesforce development expertise, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Hands-on experience delivering digital projects in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, with a full design-build project lifecycle for web projects.
- Proficiency in developing and supporting solutions within a regulated GxP and CSV-compliant computer system.
- Experience with Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools is a must.
- Knowledge of web analytics, SEO principles, and web design best practices.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications are required. Salesforce Administrator or App Builder certifications are preferred.
- SAFe Agile Certification is a plus.
