Senior PL/SQL Developer – Support Role (Oracle/MySQL/AWS)

Description

We are looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join our team in a support role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining PL/SQL programs and will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Oracle and MySQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL programs and packages to support business applications.
• Provide support for Oracle and MySQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Optimize existing SQL queries and PL/SQL code for better performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement database security measures and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
• Participate in database migration projects to AWS and assist with cloud-based solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in PL/SQL development and support.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Experience with AWS database services such as RDS and DynamoDB.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
