Senior Physical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Block/SOC-level Physical Design from Netlist to GDSII including floorplanning, power planning, placement, CTS, routing, extraction, and DFM.
• Perform congestion, timing, IR/EM, power and QoR analysis and drive closure.
• Execute sign-off flows: STA, DRC/LVS, Antenna/ERC, LEC, and ECO (timing & functional).
• Implement ECOs and ensure successful RTLGDS2 handoff.
• Work with ICC2 / Innovus and other industry-standard PnR and sign-off tools.
• Develop automation using TCL/Perl scripts to improve flow efficiency.
• Collaborate across teams, demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and a proactive attitude.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in Physical Design Implementation and sign-off.
• Strong knowledge of low-power design methodologies (UPF/CPF).
• Expertise in RTL to GDS2 flow with solid understanding of PD concepts.
• Scripting skills (TCL/Perl) and good analytical/problem-solving skills.
