Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Laravel Developer to join our growing technology team in Indore. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in building scalable and secure web solutions that support our mission to deliver long-term social impact through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Build and maintain complex applications using PHP (v8.2) and Laravel (v10.48.12).
- Frontend Integration: Develop clean, responsive interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Database Design: Create and optimize database schemas using MySQL (v8.0) and write efficient queries for large datasets.
- Cloud Deployment: Hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azureand setting up/managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps is mandatory.
- API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support both web and mobile applications.
- Code Quality: Follow best practices in coding, performance, and security. Conduct unit testing using PHP Unit and participate in code reviews.
- Version Control: Use Git effectively for version control and collaboration via GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Third-party Integrations: Work with services such as AWS S3, payment gateways, email services, and other APIs.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for codebases, processes, and deployment practices.
Required Skills & Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 5 years of hands-on development experience in PHP/Laravel.
- Strong command over front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS).
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
- Proficient with MySQL and database optimization.
- Comfortable with Agile methodologies and collaborative environments.
- Experience in leading or mentoring junior developers is a plus.
- Experience with Laravel Livewire and Bootstrap framework is a plus.
- Nice to have: Experience with Angular technologies.
- Preferred: Interest and willingness to transition into Angular development in the future.
