Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Tester III Software Testing professional with strong expertise in
manual testing within the Healthcare Insurance domain. The role involves independently executing test activities, mentoring junior testers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of billing and insurance-related applications.
Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Analyze user stories and requirements to identify ambiguities and gaps
- Design comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Execute manual test cases and ensure full requirement coverage
- Perform smoke, functional, regression, and system testing
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
- Update RTM and obtain sign-off on test scenarios
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with QA standards including usability, performance, reliability, and compatibility
- Document test results and prepare test execution reports
- Report testing progress, metrics, and defects for a small testing team
- Ensure timely completion of testing tasks and deliverables
Domain & Process Knowledge
- Perform gap analysis between business requirements and technology implementation
- Apply strong domain understanding to validate billing, invoicing, and payment workflows
- Participate in requirement reviews and clarification discussions
Team Collaboration & Mentoring
- Guide and support junior testers on test processes and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to resolve issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
Must-Have Skill Set
- 5+ years of Manual Testing experience
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- Strong experience in Healthcare Insurance domain testing
- Hands-on experience testing Healthcare Billing / Invoice flows
- Expertise in Test Case Design, Test Scenario creation, and Test Execution
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, and retesting
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and standards
- Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Job stability is mandatory
Nice-to-Have Skill Set- Automation testing experience using Selenium or Functionize
- Experience or working knowledge of ORMB (Oracle Revenue Management & Billing)
- Knowledge of General Ledger (GL) concepts
- Experience with:
- Insurance products: Policy, Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx
- Line of Business: Group, Consumer
- Insurance terminologies: Invoice, Payment, Refund, Write-Off, Offset, Delinquency
- Payment types: Cash, Check, EBPP, non-EBPP
