We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Performance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for regression testing, new feature testing, and supporting critical customer escalations of UKG software products. You will begin under the supervision of senior team members and gradually take charge of tasks, growing your expertise within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our product development teams to model new functionality, design tests, and analyze performance results.
- Collaborate with our Performance Engineering team to develop various performance testing scripts and scenarios using state-of-the-art technologies, and maintain performance testing tools.
- Utilize your knowledge of web-based, client and server applications, databases, operating systems, and computer hardware to create test scripts, run performance tests, analyze performance results, and provide a summary of performance issues with suggestions for improvement.
- Conduct performance tests on a variety of applications in diverse test environments.
- Be responsible for configuring hardware, operating systems, and databases, properly initializing test scenarios, accurately and consistently running tests, and collecting results in an organized manner.
- With minimal supervision, demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be well-organized.
- Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize, along with strong hands-on experience in a lab environment.
- Exhibit logical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to implement the performance testing process.
- Possess excellent Java coding skills
