Role Description: We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in Allegro/Cadence PCB design tools to develop high-quality PCB layouts for complex electronic products. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design, signal integrity considerations, and manufacturing constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop PCB layouts for multilayer, high-speed, and mixed-signal boards using Cadence Allegro.
Convert schematics/netlists into optimized PCB layouts as per design requirements.
Perform component placement, routing, stack-up planning, and constraint management.
Ensure compliance with DFM/DFT/EMI/EMC guidelines during layout design.
Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for design reviews.
Generate fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing outputs (Gerber, ODB++, BOM, Pick & Place, etc.).
Handle design modifications/ECO implementation based on review feedback.
Support prototype bring-up and resolve PCB design/manufacturing issues.
Maintain PCB libraries including footprints and symbols.
Participate in design verification and peer reviews.
Required Skills
4+ years of PCB Layout experience
Strong expertise in Cadence Allegro / OrCAD PCB Designer
Experience with multilayer/high-speed PCB layout
Good understanding of:
Signal Integrity / Power Integrity basics
Controlled impedance routing
Differential pair routing
EMI/EMC design practices
HDI / Blind & Buried Vias
Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
Familiarity with DFM / DFA / DFT guidelines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Electronics / ECE / EEE / Related Field
Experience in embedded, telecom, automotive, or industrial electronics PCB design
Exposure to schematic tools like OrCAD Capture
