Senior ORMB Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex components in ORMB using the OUAF framework, including algorithms, batches, business services, and scripting.
• Translate solution-driven functional designs into high-quality, efficient, and maintainable technical code.
• Design and implement technical solutions by identifying the right ORMB components to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and manage interfaces using the ORMB File Framework and Batch Multithreading Framework for performance optimization.
• Collaborate with customer technical architecture teams to discuss and define ORMB system architecture, integration strategies, and technical capabilities.
• Participate in end-to-end development activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during project implementation phases.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle development standards and methodologies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and enhancement of ORMB systems post-deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in ORMB, CC&B, and OUAF framework.
• Proven experience in technical design, component development, and integration within Oracle's utility applications.
• Expertise in ORMB algorithm design, batch processing, and business service implementation.
• Experience in interface design and development using ORMB file and batch frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data modeling, and software development best practices.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in global project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on global Oracle implementation projects in the financial or utilities sectors.
• Understanding of web services, API integration, and middleware technologies used with Oracle applications.
• Ability to lead customer sessions on technical design and architecture discussions.
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Java, and other OUAF customization tools.
