Consultant Scope of Work Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Techno-Functional Support (60% Technical and 40% Functional)
The consultant will provide functional and technical support for multiple Operating Companies within the Group using the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP platform. Key responsibilities include:
- Experience in Project Accounting, Project Billing & Project Costing, Project --(5+ Years) ,Manufacturing Modules.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in communicating with Business Users, understanding the requirements and provide the required support or do the development etc.
- Should be a person who can talk directly with the end users and collect the requirements from them.
Application Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide daily support for Oracle EBS business processes and third-party interfaces.
- Deliver functional and technical support for incidents, defects, and minor enhancements.
- Manage and resolve Incidents following ITIL standards.
- Troubleshoot and correct process and data issues causing failures.
- Collaborate with DBA teams, Oracle Support, business users and external vendors to resolve system and interface issues.
System Configuration & Development
- Configure and customize Oracle EBS modules (Financials, Supply Chain, Projects, Order-to-Cash, Manufacturing, OTL, HRMS).
- Maintain and update all technical development documentation.
- Prepare and submit migration documentation per company governance procedures.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct unit testing for all configuration and development work.
- Coordinate Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) with IT personnel and functional leads.
- Prepare and provide all test evidence to the associated incident/request.
Change Management & Governance
- Follow change-control policies.
- Make no direct updates in the Production environment.
- Perform all configuration or data changes in EBS DEV, with stakeholder validation.
- Create Change Requests and progress each change.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date support documentation.
- Recommend process improvements and best practices to enhance system stability and efficiency.
- Support reduction of project and ticket backlog through proactive analysis and remediation.
Communication & Collaboration
- Provide regular status updates to business users, IT management, and key stakeholders.
- Participate in recurring and ad-hoc project, support, and progress meetings.
