Role Purpose

Senior IA Developers are responsible for designing, building, testing, releasing and supporting IA forms, rules and bespoke client-side components, together with associated database and integration changes. They ensure IA services are accessible, performant, secure and operable throughout the service lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

Design and build IA rulebases and form journeys aligned to functional and non-functional requirements.

Implementation and maintenance of bespoke IA Web Determinations custom controls written in raw JavaScript.

Ensuring WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance including ARIA and keyboard behaviour.

SQL Server schema design, stored procedures and audit data management in support of IA services.

Development and support of Java SOAP connector integrations.

Functional, regression, accessibility and non-functional testing.

Release support including ServiceNow change management and CAB participation where required.

Live service support including incident triage, defect resolution and business-facing support.

Contribution to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Expected Experience

Delivery of production IA services end-to-end

Ownership of full IA form and rule lifecycle

Experience implementing bespoke IA JavaScript controls

Live Service support experience in regulated environments

Strong collaboration with operations, delivery and business stakeholders
