Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations within Oracle EBS (R12 / R12.2).
- Work on Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements (RICE components).
- Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and APIs for custom requirements.
- Support and enhance Oracle EBS modules across Financials, SCM, and HRMS.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, tuning, and optimization of Oracle applications.
- Participate in EBS upgrades, patching, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation (MD50, MD70, etc.).
- Work closely with DBA, functional, and business teams to ensure smooth operations and system stability.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 / R12.2 technical development.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Forms, Reports, and Workflows.
- Experience in developing and maintaining RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
- Sound knowledge of EBS modules like Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA), SCM (PO, INV, OM), and HRMS.
- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and BI Publisher is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for performance tuning and issue resolution.
- Hands-on experience in EBS integration with third-party applications.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as Toad, SQL Developer, and version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Understanding of functional flows and ability to collaborate effectively with functional teams.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills (MD50, MD70 preparation).
