Role Summary:

The Senior DBA for database ops is an individual contributor role with expertise in Oracle database who is responsible to maintain & support critical database systems 24x7. Experience in managing other RDBMS/SQL RDBMS DBs both in On-premises and Cloud along with automation skills.

Database Administration: Manage all aspects of the Oracle database along working with application teams, including fresh installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, backup, recovery, and maintenance

Database Monitoring and Alerting

Skills

1) Need an Oracle DBA admin having an experience in automation using CICD tools in the database area and worked in both on-premise and cloud (AWS)

2) Experience in infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform

3) Having knowledge of other RDBMS & NoSQL along with automation/cloud skills

4) Expertise in troubleshooting, pro-active monitoring, backup, restore/recovery, and performance tuning.

5) Having strong performance tuning knowledge, disaster recovery skills

6) Strong Oracle DBA skills in managing RAC, BR, and DG

7) Having exposure to Golden Gate

8) 24X7 on-call support on rotational basis
