JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's multiple enterprise production systems. This includes, but is not limited to :
Clarity The companies key Operational System
NLS The companies loan servicing software
This is achieved by working with, and supporting;
- Development Team
- Engineering Tem
- Architecture Team
- Conversion Team
Primarily responsible for the Oracle databases running, Windows and Linux servers. This position ensures the integrity and security of the database and the user accessibility.
The role also includes other database technologies the company uses. Mainly SQL Server and Postgres.
Clarity
Production Support to debug any issues that the Helpdesk cannot resolve
Control User Access
Perform code drops that includes Datacenter switch
Backup
Patch servers
Patch/Upgrade all Oracle technology (clusterware, database, GoldenGate, GDS)
Maintain Standby database
Support Development team in SDLC by creating and refreshing test environments.

Support Development team in SDLC by creating and refreshing test environments.
Technical Skills Required:
- Oracle GoldenGate: Implementation, Maintenance & Development.
- Oracle Global Data Services (GDS): Implementation & Maintenance.
- Oracle High Availability (Cluster Services): Implementation & Maintenance.
- Exadata
- New Technology/Products: POC, Implementation, Training & Development.
- Architectural Assistance: Assisting Data Architects with new Technology and ongoing issues.
- Automation: Maintaining automated tasks & troubleshooting potential issues.
- Oracle Database: Maintenance, Implementation & Optimization (12c/19c/23ai).
- Patching: OS, Database, Clusterware & Application Patching
- PL/SQL Development: Developing as needed PL/SQL Packages & Procedures, including any other objects required within its scope
- Database/Application Monitoring: Monitoring Databases & other applications that may interact with databases.
- Backup/Disaster Recovery: Maintaining Backups and Exports for various DB technologies.
- PostgreSQL: Managing & maintaining existing PostgreSQL database setups
- MySQL: Maintaining and troubleshooting issues with MySQL Databases.
- Linux scripting.
- SQL Server: Maintenance and Troubleshooting MSSQL Server issues.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting Any and all other issues, any other software/hardware we use
