Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Pune. The Senior Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities, ensuring efficient workflows, process optimization, and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, analyzing operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and leading cross-functional teams to meet organizational and industry goals. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement across operations to achieve long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and production planning
  • Skills in team leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and effective communication
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proven expertise in project management, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and supply chain management
  • Technical knowledge in automotive or engineering fields, with experience in TPM, research and development processes, or advanced technologies being advantageous
  • Familiarity with compliance, quality assurance standards, and industry best practices
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree in Business or Engineering is preferred ( PMP, Six Sigma certification would be preferred)
  • Ability to manage operations in an on-site environment and deliver under tight deadlines
