Position Title: Senior OIC Developer

Experience Level: 4 - 7 Years

Department: Accounting Information Systems

Job Summary:

The OIC Developer is responsible for the creation, updating, & bug fixing of OIC built integrations. The Developer will create new custom integrations in line with company best practices. In addition, the Developer will make changes to existing integrations where needed to align with best practices or to resolve bugs.

Essential Duties:

  • Creating bespoke OIC integrations for Oracle & non-Oracle applications
  • Configuring new OIC connections with SSH, & PGP keys as needed
  • Utilize modern solutions in OIC for integrations such as AI agents
  • Create detailed documentation of the design, build, & any modifications
  • Configure & manage OCI security, containers & any other needs
  • Create objects & configurations within Oracle Fusion ERP to support OIC as needed
  • Create & maintain SFTP folder structures to align new OIC integrations with best practice

Other Responsibilities:

  • Makes decisions in compliance with established corporate and department standards
  • Provides exceptional customer service and adheres to the Lockton philosophies

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis in the insurance industry or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in working with project teams in an information technology environment
  • Proficiency with SQL, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience with APEX a plus
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and written
  • Ability to work well with & and describe tasks to non-technical users
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data in a variety of formats and to provide recommendations and support in establishing strategic plans for undertaking data conversions
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with multi-functional teams in a technical production environment
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to customer requirements with timely and effective technical solutions
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask without sacrificing the quality and accuracy of project deliverables
  • Some overtime, off-shift support and travel may be required
