Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and review of electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
- Project Execution: Oversee electrical engineering activities during project execution phases including planning, coordination, and supervision of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical guidance on electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, motors, and protection relays to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical engineering activities comply with safety regulations, environmental laws, and Adani's safety culture, fostering a zero-accident workplace.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and project management teams to ensure integrated project delivery and smooth execution.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Evaluate and supervise vendors and contractors for electrical works, ensuring quality standards, timely delivery, and adherence to project specifications.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documents, reports, and manuals related to design calculations, test results, and project progress for internal and regulatory audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve electrical system designs and processes by integrating new technologies and innovative solutions aligning with Adani's vision of sustainable growth.
- Training and Development: Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment to build a highly skilled electrical engineering team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
