Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated Network Engineers with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Bhiwandi. The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, hardware, and asset management. This role will include troubleshooting, optimizing network performance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all networking and hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Setup & Maintenance:
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Ensure network uptime and performance by performing regular monitoring and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve networking, hardware, and software issues.
- Provide support to end-users and handle network outages and performance bottlenecks.
Hardware Support:
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other network devices.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and procurement.
Asset Management:
- Manage and maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and network equipment.
- Track and update hardware usage, lifecycle, and ensure proper allocation of IT assets.
Security & Monitoring:
- Assist in implementing and monitoring network security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus solutions.
- Perform regular security audits and network performance evaluations to ensure network security and efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of network configurations, IT assets, and technical issues resolved.
- Create and update documentation for network setups, hardware installations, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT team members and departments to provide efficient network and hardware support.
- Participate in projects that require networking and hardware expertise.
