Job Description:

Mandatory Skills

• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and network topologies
• Expertise in Data Engineering concepts and data lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Python / SQL for data manipulation and automation
• Experience working with network logs, telemetry, packet data, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog
• Knowledge of Cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with Network Monitoring Tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Splunk, Prometheus, etc.)
• Ability to build/maintain ETL pipelines for network datasets
• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Exposure to SDN, NFV, or software-defined network environments
• Automation experience using Ansible / Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps workflows
• Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze and process large-scale network datasets
• Develop scripts & automation to enhance network monitoring and data extraction
• Maintain scalable data pipelines used for network analytics
• Work closely with network engineering teams to improve network performance and reliability
• Perform root cause analysis on network-related issues using collected data
• Create dashboards, reports, and insights for network performance improvement
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across storage & pipelines
