Role Overview
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, deployment, and optimization of our global, high-availability network infrastructure across data centers and AWS cloud environments. Your role involves expert-level knowledge in managing complex enterprise routing and switching, designing and maintaining enterprise Wireless Infrastructure (Cisco Meraki), configuring enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), and integrating hybrid cloud solutions. You will bridge the gap between high-level business goals and technical execution, ensuring our network is cost-optimized, secure by design, and resilient.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering
- Expert-level knowledge in designing and maintaining scalable, high-availability network solutions across global data centers and AWS cloud environments.
- Proven ability to manage communication and coordination with external vendors and partners for timely resolution of network service issues.
- Proficiency in managing complex enterprise routing and switching
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise Wireless Technologies.
- Hands on experience on handing Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS Networking components, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and Client VPNs, for hybrid cloud integration.
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet etc.).
- Familiarity with data center technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, or Cisco ACI.
- Strong competency in proactive network health monitoring, troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues, and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ability to manage physical hardware lifecycle (racking, stacking, and cabling) and oversee server room environmental monitoring, power distribution (PDU), and UPS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Architecture: Design and maintain scalable, high-availability network solutions across global data centers and AWS cloud environments.
- Routing & Switching: Manage complex enterprise environments utilizing BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Wireless Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi using Cisco Meraki, ensuring seamless roaming, high density, and secure guest/corporate access.
- Hybrid Cloud Integration: Design and manage AWS Networking components, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and Client VPNs.
- Security & Firewalls: Configure and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower) to protect critical assets.
- Data Center & Server Room Management:
- Manage physical hardware lifecycle (racking, stacking, and cabling).
- Oversee server room environmental monitoring, power distribution (PDU), and UPS systems.
- Maintain data center technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, or Cisco ACI.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor network health, troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts.
