L2 Support IMS /CS CORE Engineer
Your Day To Day
- Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service and the restoring time for IMS Core CS Network Elements.
- In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Design, create and load data configuration, perform software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

- In case of incident assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of IMS /CS-Core Network.
- Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network. Take corrective measures based on performance management and indicators trend analysis
- Assure planned work activities, network rollout, configuration build and load, software upgrades and parameter changes in core CS network ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities
- Perform acceptance test and integration/configuration activities of new network elements of the core CS network.
- Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network
With These Skills, You Are a Great Candidate
- Very good knowledge of core network principles for 3G/4G/5G LTE/Volte and IMS technologies, S-GW, P-GW ,ENOD-B HSS ,IMS and SIP server & MGCF Functionality . Knowledge of Unix, NFV, vMSS and VoLTE and IMS Network.
- Good knowledge of core network protocols : C7, SIP, Diameter Raduis and IMS and IP call Flow
- Analyse and interpret traces (wireshark traces, IRIS traces, network element traces and logs);
- Able to design and create services within volte /IMS Network.
- English (fluent spoken and written)
- 5-7 years of experience in Ericsson IMS CS-Core Network Operations and Maintenance activities
- Ericsson & Huawei core network training and certificates or equivalent advantageous
