Role: Sr. Software Engineer - MuleSoft

Experience: 4-6 yrs.

Location: Hyderabad (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Description

Focuses on designing and implementing API-led connectivity between the CP platform and

other enterprise systems (like CRM, ERP, and billing systems) using the MuleSoft Anypoint

Platform.

The role requires expertise in API development, data transformation, and cloud integration,

often within the context of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.

Scope of work

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable integration solutions

and APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager,

Exchange, Runtime Manager).

Integrate the ChargePoint platform with internal and third-party systems such as

Salesforce, NetSuite, network systems to ensure seamless data flow for services like

charging session data, billing information, and asset management.

Implement end-to-end API lifecycle management, including design, security

(OAuth2, JWT), monitoring, and governance to ensure security, performance, and

scalability standards are met.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, software

developers, and architects, to gather requirements, translate them into technical

specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to integration

solutions, providing ongoing support and enhancements to existing integrations.

Define and enforce integration development best practices, coding standards, and

procedures, while also creating detailed technical documentation for all integration

processes and solutions.

Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and utilize CI/CD tools (like Maven, Jenkins, Git)

for automated deployments and continuous integration.

Qualifications:

3-5 years complex MuleSoft ESB integration designing & developing REST based web

services using Mulesoft Anypoint platform

Strong hands-on experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, RAML

specifications.

Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architectures, micro-services framework &

lifecycle.

Experience with API management, security, OAuth and OpenID technologies

Experience with test frameworks like Junit, Munit and automated testing

Experience working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM

Highly motivated and self-starter who is quick and open to adapt to new technologies

Prior integration experience with platforms such as SalesForce, NetSuite essential.

Data management experience including SQL tools like MySQL and Oracle, as well as

experience with data warehouse systems

Familiarity with performance monitoring, error logging and ability to develop reports

and alerts
