Senior Member Technical Staff

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for applications, databases, tools, networks, and related systems.

As a member of the Software Engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks related to designing, developing, and debugging software applications or operating systems. You will provide technical leadership to other software developers and specify, design, and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, requiring independent judgment. You are fully competent in your area of expertise. You may serve as a project lead and/or supervise junior personnel.

A BS or MS degree (or equivalent relevant experience) is required.

4+ years of software engineering or related experience required.

As an SDE joining this team, your mission would be to protect and serve customer trust by focusing on achieving mission-critical availability. This mission includes:

1) Design, Develop and Maintain systems to support our distributed fleet of SmartNICs. Includes distributed deployment and monitoring tooling.

3) Participate in our on-call rotation which requires monitoring our fleet and associated services.

4) Improve our operational capabilities by developing runbooks, alarming metrics, and building tools.

5) Improve efficiency of the deployment processes across a fast-growing number of regions through automation and scale improvements to tools and dashboards
