We are looking for bright and exceptional programmers to join our newly formed Legal Tech team at our firm's office in Hyderabad or Bengaluru. The Legal Tech team creates software to support the firm's global Legal function. The team develops and maintains critical applications that support legal workflows such as contract lifecycle management, entity management, legal document management, and reporting. These systems often integrate with other internal platforms and require an exceptional focus on accuracy, reliability, and security. Legal is a critical function for the firm, and the breadth of the firm's businesses adds meaningful complexity to the problems the team solves.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will be designing and implementing software for different tools and processes in the Legal Tech group. You will be taking projects to completion in an optimal manner while adhering to firmwide standards of software quality and project delivery. You will also be taking complete ownership of projects which include evaluating requirements and defining the scope by discussing with traders/quants, building good domain knowledge, and coming up with tech/product initiatives, reviewing code and design for other team members (or getting reviewed), documenting important process details and presenting projects to the group, etc.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal candidate should hold-
Basic qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science with a solid foundation in Algorithms, Data Structures, and Object-oriented programming
- 2 to 4 years of programming experience with Python or equivalent languages
- The willingness to work in a language-agnostic environment
- Good knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), including evaluation and prompting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills, high quantitative aptitude, and ability to turn around projects quickly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
