Summary of Job

Looking for a Senior software engineer for my team in Bangalore - India.

Work You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer,

Deliver code with highest quality
Conduct code reviews
Participate in design and architecture of Cloud based deployment
Technically contribute to cloud infrastructure, security, and operations related aspects
You are responsible to cut across different teams to find and build effective solutions that's aligned with OAC's best practices and guidelines

Must have skills:

Minimum of 5+ years of work experience
Technical Skills
Strong java development skills
Good understanding of object oriented programming concepts
Good understanding of unit testing frameworks
Good exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins)
Experience writing Unix shell scripts
Good understanding of Maven
Good understanding of Docker
Experience building micro services on container orchestrator like Kubernetes
Exposure to any cloud
Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a Cloud environment
Strong collaboration and assertive communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development is required.
Have been part of teams building scalable software products
Good understanding of distributed storage and processing

Nice to have skills

Knowledge on Scala, Python and Terraform
Experience building Cloud platforms and solutions
Big Data skills with open source technologies like Spark, Hive Metastore is a plus
