Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional and Area Business Managers in Gujarat with experience in Dermatology to join our team at a leading dermaceutical company. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in building a Sales team for the West zone and also in promoting and selling our dermatological products to Doctors, building strong relationships, and contributing to the growth of our brand in the dermatology sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Team Building: Build, train and oversee a dynamic team of sales representatives in the West Zone and ensure effective performance with target achievements.
Product Promotion: Effectively promote and detail dermatological products to dermatologists, skincare professionals, and other healthcare practitioners.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, dermatologists, and healthcare professionals in the assigned territory.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the dermatology sector, providing insights to the sales and marketing teams.
Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed sales targets for dermatological products within the assigned geographical area
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest developments in dermatology and possess in-depth knowledge of the cosmeceutical products, ingredients, and their applications.
Customer Education: Provide training and education to healthcare professionals on the features, benefits, and proper usage of dermatological products.
Event Participation: Represent the company at dermatology conferences, seminars, and workshops, showcasing products and networking with professionals in the field.
Market Feedback: Gather market feedback and competitor information, reporting insights to the marketing and product development teams.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory analysis.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical standards, compliance with industry regulations, and company policies in all promotional activities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
3-4 years of proven experience in Pharmaceutical Sales with a focus on dermatology products in the pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of dermatology, skincare, and cosmeceutical products.
Strong understanding of the medical sales process and the ability to effectively communicate product benefits.
Established network and relationships with dermatologists and healthcare professionals in the assigned territory.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the dermatology sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with healthcare professionals.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
