Senior Mechanical BIM Modeler (3+ years)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Modeler specializing in mechanical systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of
mechanical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, Chilled water, and fire protection
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of mechanical systems with other building components
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between mechanical and other building systems Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents from BIM models
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on BIM-related issues
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems Proficiency in BIM software.particularly Revit MEP and Navisworks
- Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices in the PHE/fire-fighting discipline.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality control
