This is a remote position.
We are hiring an experienced Online Mathematics Teacher to teach students following the UK and international curricula, including 11+, SATs, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, and AS/A-Levels. The role involves delivering engaging virtual lessons, tracking student progress, and providing academic support in an online learning environment.
This position is ideal for educators with strong subject expertise, excellent online teaching skills, and hands-on experience using a pen tablet (pentab) for digital instruction.
Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online Mathematics classes using digital teaching tools
- Teach and prepare students for 11+, SATs, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, AS & A-Levels
- Create lesson plans aligned with UK exam board requirements
- Assess student performance and provide regular feedback
- Support students with exam preparation and concept clarity
- Maintain student progress reports and attendance records
Requirements
- Required Skills & Experience
- Proven online Mathematics teaching experience
- Mandatory experience using a pen tablet (pentab) for online classes
- Strong knowledge of UK and international Mathematics curricula
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, LMS, etc.)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education
- B.Ed / B.Sc (Mathematics) preferred
- Teaching certifications are an advantage
