About the role
We are building a startup, an inventory-led marketplace reseller (similar to Clicktech / RetailEZ / Cocoblu at an early stage).
This role is not execution-heavy clerical work.
This role is about thinking + operating + deciding.
You will work closely with:
- The founder
- Our operations & systems lead (inventory, MIS, dashboards)
- Our execution team handling day-to-day processing
Your job is to own the marketplace game.
What you will own
You will be responsible for end-to-end marketplace strategy and execution across:
- Amazon Seller Central
- Flipkart Seller Hub
- Other marketplaces (Snapdeal / Myntra / Ajio / etc. as relevant)
This includes:
- Listing & latching strategy (working with brand-owned listings)
- Category and competitor analysis
- Pricing strategy (fees, logistics, margins, Buy Box dynamics)
- Marketplace cost structures (commissions, logistics, penalties, returns)
- Sales growth planning without killing contribution
- New brand onboarding (from listing readiness to GTM)
- Capital allocation inputs (where inventory money should go)
- Coordination with supply chain & systems team for clean execution
You will not be doing:
- Manual order processing
- Basic MIS creation
- Clerical follow-ups
Who this role is for

- Has 612+ years in Indian e-commerce
- Has worked deeply on Amazon + Flipkart
- Understands pricing wars, fee structures, logistics math
- Has seen what happens when growth is chased without margins
- Can sit with a founder and say:
- This brand is worth capital. This one isn't.
Bonus if you've worked at:
- Large marketplace sellers
- Inventory-led D2C brands
- Category-heavy businesses (tools, consumer durables, hard goods)
