Job Description
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the marketing strategy and execution for our e-learning products and services. This role requires a data-driven, creative, and highly strategic marketer who understands the digital learning landscape and can drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has strong experience in ed-tech or e-learning environments with a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, learner behaviour, and B2C/B2B customer dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify target segments like corporates, academic institutions and plan campaigns accordingly.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to refine offerings and positioning.
Digital Marketing Leadership
- Lead end-to-end digital marketing across performance marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, automation, content marketing, and analytics.
- Drive high-quality lead generation and optimize conversion funnels for maximum ROI.
- Monitor and optimize paid campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms).
Brand & Communication
- Build and strengthen the brand presence across digital and offline channels.
- Oversee development of brand messaging, value propositions, and creative communication.
- Coordinate with design, content, and creative teams for impactful marketing assets.
Content & Product Marketing
- Plan and guide high-impact content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and course descriptions.
- Collaborate with product and academic teams to translate course benefits into compelling learner value.
Growth & Revenue Marketing
- Own marketing KPIs, lead quality, funnel conversion, revenue contribution, and retention.
- Implement growth experiments to accelerate learner acquisition and reduce churn.
- Partner with sales to deliver qualified leads and support inside sales teams with marketing enablement.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketers, content creators, and marketing coordinators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Sales, Product, Tech, Academic, and Customer Success.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, influencers, and partners.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, CRM, marketing automation, and BI dashboards.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on campaign performance, budget utilization, and growth metrics.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies and improve outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 610+ years of marketing experience, preferably in e-learning or ed-tech.
- Proven experience leading digital marketing and growth marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels, learner behaviour, and ed-tech customer journeys.
- Expertise in performance marketing, SEO, content strategy, and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and analytical skills.
- Experience leading teams and handling multi-channel campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with B2B and B2C e-learning products.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce), analytics tools, and martech stacks.
- Experience in brand building and community-driven learning environments.
- Familiarity with video marketing, webinars, influencer marketing, and education partnerships.
