Overview

PepsiCo is beginning a transformation journey within Workforce Management (WFM). With it's global reach, the scale and impact to our frontline employees and leaders is significant, with an opportunity to continue to elevate the employee experience. We are establishing a team to build, deploy and sustain the deployment of a new technology platform, at the same time of evolving ways of working and strengthening WFM capability.

The WFM Solution Design Lead will work at the direction of the WFM Product Manager, and in partnership with the business to design and document functional solutions within and around UKG Pro (Dimensions) that meet business requirements and adhere to PepsiCo standards across the global HR systems landscape. This role will be responsible for adhering to governance procedures by documenting change requests and providing advisory to the various sectors within the business across multiple sites and countries and documentation of planned releases in partnership with the IT configuration and delivery leads. Monitoring adherence to monitoring of critical and high incidents, business continuity execution, vendor and business SLAs and operational scorecard development will be another key responsibility for the incumbent.


Responsibilities

  • Design and co-develop UKG Pro (Dimensions) solutions that fit into the overall PepsiCo landscape
  • Manage vendor, UKG, relationship including management of major incidents, critical and/or high product defects, licensing changes, and new feature/module releases
  • Develops the business cases to UKG Product Manager and Product Development team regarding specific trends for future vendor product functionality and enhancements
  • Develop release plans for continuous improvement, enhancements, and planned vendor enhancements and patches in partnership with the configuration
  • Develop, monitor, and test business continuity plans for WFM in partnership with the UKG, the business, payroll and GBS controls team, and IT
  • Develop WFM change requests in partnership with the business for pre and post-implementation sustain changes as required to support business needs, CBA, and regulatory changes
  • Develop and monitor key controls compliance in the WFM process models close coordination with Internal Controls team and Finance, HR and Payroll process and system owners
  • Develop and monitor the development global metrics and scorecards for all WFM system projects and configuration changes and provide status to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Monitor and report on the projects assigned, and highlight through governance when initiatives are at risk of or go off track
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders - inside and outside of the function - working closely with wider functional, regional, and business line teams, building strong relationships, ensuring consensus and effectively influencing outcomes
  • Develop business initiated configuration changes into release plans including governance over scheduled releases in partnership with IT
  • Analyze UKG required product releases for configuration impacts and in partnership with IT to prepare the organization for changes at the direction of the WFM Product Manager
  • Co- develop test plans with business on End to End required testing and Pay and time compare preparation activities
  • Coordinate business continuity activities in partnership with WFM vendors and IT Configuration Delivery Leads

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 9-11 Years of total experience
  • 2+ years of past relevant experience designing and/or configuring WFM and/or payroll solutions (UKG Pro WFM/WFC preferred, but not limited to Timekeeping, Accruals, Advanced Scheduling, and Analytics Modules)
  • Experience working with cloud solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence others including cross-functional & leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite, advanced excel proficiency is a must
  • Should have a sound or general understanding of project management activities and methodologies
  • Works well under guidance and direction
  • Knowledgeable and experienced within own functional discipline or business unit and willing to learn and expand
  • Experience working with third-party resources and vendors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various teams, various business units directly or indirectly and IT users, ability to listen to the end user requirements and take appropriate action based on PepsiCo's guidelines, a problem solver
