Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team as Senior Manager – Finance. The incumbent will be a key contributor to the financial reporting, accounting controls, and management information ecosystem of the organisation. This role demands strong technical accounting acumen in financial close processes, and the ability to deliver insightful MIS reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Statements Preparation

▪ Lead the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP as applicable).

▪ Ensure timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes to Accounts.

▪ Coordinate with statutory auditors and manage the audit process end-to-end, including responding to audit queries and ensuring clean audit sign-off.

▪ Lead the preparation of standalone financial statements of Foreign subsidiaries.

2. Books Review & Financial Close

▪ Oversee and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

▪ Review general ledger entries, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations to ensure completeness and correctness of books.

▪ Perform detailed ledger scrutiny and resolve open items, misclassifications, and reconciling differences on a timely basis.

▪ Implement and monitor internal controls over financial reporting; identify gaps and drive corrective action plans.

▪ Ensure all inter-company transactions, eliminations, and consolidation entries are properly recorded and reconciled.

3. MIS Preparation & Reporting

▪ Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) framework to support business decision-making.

▪ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports covering P&L analysis, cost centre performance, budget vs. actual variance analysis, and key financial ratios.

▪ Present financial performance dashboards and analytical summaries to senior management and the Board as required.

▪ Work closely with business units to gather data inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure MIS reflects accurate ground-level operational performance.

▪ Drive automation and process improvements in MIS reporting using ERP tools, Excel, or BI platforms.

4. Taxation & Compliance

▪ Assist in direct tax (corporate tax, advance tax, TDS) and indirect tax (GST) compliance, return filings, and liaison with tax consultants.

▪ Support in transfer pricing documentation and related-party transaction disclosures.

5. Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership

▪ Mentor and guide junior team members in accounting operations and reporting stan

dards.▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, HR, procurement, and legal to ensure financial data integrity.

▪ Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

▪ Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) – mandatory.

▪ 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in a finance/accounting role, preferably in a mid-to-large corporate environment.

▪ Prior experience in financial statement preparation, statutory audit coordination, and MIS reporting is essential.

▪ Exposure to Ind AS / IFRS reporting framework is preferred.

▪ Experience working in ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, or similar) is required.
