About The Role
Reporting to the Market Managing Director, this is a pivotal role for shaping and delivering India's business growth ambitions. The role is accountable for identifying, prioritizing, and executing high-impact strategic projects across sales and marketing, driving measurable improvements in brand presence, revenue generation, and operational effectiveness. Strong cross-functional leadership with teams in India and regional counterparts will be essential to deliver business transformation through innovative marketing and commercial strategies.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead Strategic Projects Across Sales & Marketing
- Collaborate with sales leadership to create and implement go-to-market strategies, commercial excellence programs, and market prioritization frameworks.
- Support the MD, India, and executive leadership in setting vision, market priorities, and change management across commercial and marketing domains.
- Demand Planning
- Provide leadership and guidance for demand planning, ensuring it supports strategic sales and marketing objectives.
- Oversee the demand forecasting process, collaborating with sales, marketing, retail, e-commerce, and supply chain teams for accurate, unbiased projections that enable growth and strategic campaigns.
- Support S&OP/IBP processes, facilitating commercial planning through data-driven, consensus forecasting.
- Use demand insights to inform broader sales and marketing strategies.
- Recommend improvements in forecasting systems and analytics, aligning them with wider marketing and commercial projects.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build robust relationships with regional teams, supply chain, and commercial operations to ensure integrated execution and alignment.
- Nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all major initiatives.
- Regularly communicate project progress and impact to the Executive team, adapting approaches based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
About You
- 10+ years rounded experience across sales, marketing and strategic project management
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical capability, and a record of delivering impactful business results
- Proven track record leading high-impact, cross-functional projects from concept to execution
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead large-scale projects across multiple teams
- Brings structure, rigor, and energy to new initiatives within a dynamic environment
