Job Summary :
The Senior Manager - Sales (West) is responsible for ensuring that the commercial objectives set by Ohmium are consistently met for the Western Indian market. This role involves driving the go-to-market strategy specifically for the West region while representing the Company's values to all stakeholders. In addition to possessing superior commercial acumen and customer orientation, the position requires a high degree of cross-functional leadership and organizational skills to leverage the Company's strong and consistently growing footprint in India.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- End-to-End commercial responsibility for Western India i.e., from prospecting potential customers to securing enquiries, converting those to orders, managing customer during delivery, and finally cash collection.
- Leverages the Company's Regional and Global footprint to grow Company's brand value and business.
- Owns and executes the Strategic (Mid to Long Term) and Operating (Current Year) Sales Plan.
- Develops and executes Key Account Management Plan.
- Partners with other functional stakeholders in the Company (Engineering, Operations, Services) to deliver customer satisfaction throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or related filed, required.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum 8 -12 years of experience working in a leadership role in Sales or Business Development is required.
- Experience working for a multi-national organization preferred.
- Experience in solution sales of industrial products like pumps, filters, pressure vessels and compressors to process industry, oil and gas, chemical industry is required.
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
